Visa to Belarus
Visas and valid passports are required to enter Belarus. Belarusian visa is normally issued by a Belarusian embassy or consulate in 5 working days, there is also a possibility to get it urgently (in 48 hours) by paying a double fee. Visas for children under 16 are issued free of charge.
Applications for visas are to be made to the nearest Belarusian overseas consulate.

No visa
NO VISA for up to 30 days trip.
If you are from: Brazil, China, Cuba, Ecuador, Macedonia, Mongolia, Montenegro, Qatar, Serbia, Turkey, and or Venezuela and you want to visit Belarus for up to 30 days, then you do not need a visa if you are arriving and departing via the Minsk National Airport.

Information on visa-free travel via the checkpoint “Minsk National Airport”.
According to the Presidential Decree “On establishment of visa-free entry and exit of foreign nationals”, foreign citizens of 80 countries can entry Belarus for up to 30 days and exit from the territory of Belarus only through the State border checkpoint of the Republic of Belarus “Minsk National Airport”. The given order of visa-free movement through the airport does not extend to persons coming to Belarus by plane from the Russian Federation, as well as to those who intend to fly to the airports of the Russian Federation (such flights are considered as internal ones and do not have border control).
The Decree also does not apply to foreigners paying official visits. Diplomatic, official, special and other passports equal to them are not covered by the above Decree.
To enter the Republic of Belarus in the visa-free regime via the checkpoint “Minsk National Airport”, foreign nationals must have the following documents:
For citizens of Vietnam, Haiti, Gambia, Honduras, India, China, Lebanon, Namibia, Samoa a valid multiple visa of the EU member states or Schengen zone with a mark in passport on crossing the border of these states and tickets with confirmation of departure from “Minsk National Airport” within 30 days from the date of entry is a compulsory additional requirement.
Brest-Grodno visa free
On August 7, 2019, the President of the Republic of Belarus signed a decree “On Establishing a Visa-Free Procedure for Entry and Exit of Foreign Citizens”, according to which the two previously visa-free zones of the tourist and recreation territories of Brest and Grodno are combined into one visa-free zone “Brest-Grodno”. In addition, visa-free territory is expanding into 5 districts of the Grodno region: Berestovitsky, Volkovysky, Voronovsky, Lidsky and Schuchinsky.
Citizens of 73 countries are allowed to stay in this territory without a visa, the duration of stay is 15 days.

Travelling without visas through the territory of these regions is possible as part of organized tourist groups along routes that include visits to the visa-free territory of Brest-Grodno.
The decree comes into force 3 months after official publication.

MEDICAL INSURANCE FOR BELARUS
Foreign citizens temporarily staying or temporarily residing in the Republic of Belarus are required to have a compulsory health insurance policy( from Belarusian insurance companies Belgosstrakh and Beleximgarant) or medical insurance policy took out in a foreign insurance organization in case of their emergency medical treatment in medical institutions
Two Belarusian Insurance Companies in Belarus have the right to sell them: BELGOSSTRACH & BELEXIMGARANT, the stands of which are situated in the airport before Passport Control. The price for this Medical Certificate is not high: 3-4 day stay costs 2 EUR; 5-6 day stay-3 EUR; 7-8day stay 4 EUR; 9-10 day stay-5 EUR etc. Cash ONLY! So, when you arrive in Minsk, go to one of these 2 Insurance companies’ stands and tell for how many days Belarusian Medical Certificate is needed and show your passport for filling out this Certificate.
