Day 1

  • Arrival to Minsk by air After clearing immigration and customs, meeting with a guide at the airport. Transfer to the hotel (accommodation at the hotel upon your choice) Check in at the hotel
  • CITY TOUR OF MINSK (10.00–13.00). The capital city of Belarus was first settled over 900 years ago, in 1067. Much of old Minsk was razed to the ground during World War II. Among the sights that you will see are: Independence Square with the House of Government and “Red” Krasny Roman-Catholic Church, Victory Square with its tall grey obelisk and eternal flame honoring the heroes of World War II, Troitskoye Predmestye (Trinity Suburb) — restored buildings of the 19th century, Holy Trinity Cathedral and St.Catherin’s Church — architectural monuments of the 17th cent.
  • TOUR at the Big Opera and Ballet theatre. The first permanent theatre was founded in Belarus in 1933 on the basis of the Belarusian opera and ballet school. The building was renovated and it reopened in 2009. Many sculptures were added around the theatre, its stage was slightly moved and audience space expanded. The most up-to-date lighting and motion equipment was added while adhering to the original design. The ballet company is considered one of the foremost companies in the world. The Opera and Ballet theatre is the second in the row among the famous Bolshoy theatres in Moscow and St. Petersbug. We will show you around the Big Theatre, visit the back stage of the theatre, view the actors getting ready for the shows and enjoy the grandiose and the spectacular views of the theatre.

Day 2

After breakfast a visit to the National Art museum of Belarus. There one can find a large collection of Belarusian art dating back from the 16th-20th centuries includes icons, ancient wooden sculptures, articles of applied art, paintings and drawings. On exibit are works of Russian artists of the 18th —20th centuries, as well as modern art. Permanent and temporary exhibits.

  • Lunch at the café in the city
  • After lunch a visit of Haim Sutin museum at the village of Smilovichi 25 km away from Minsk. The artist was born here but moved to Paris to become world famous. There are replicas and original paintings of this artists displayed at the museum
  • A tour of the small place of Smilovichi. This village near Minsk was own by a number of noble families and there are remains of the old castle in this place. Nowadays there are around 200 nationalities living here, including a Diaspora of Tatars, Jews, Polish, Russian and other nationalities. It is a typical small village, where you can have a glimpse on the way Belarussians live. A visit to the felt factory. You will have a chance to see the way felt boots are made. 
  • Return to Minsk
  • Dinner at the local café

Day 3

After breakfast Transfer to Vitebsk. (350 km)

City tour of VITEBSK. Founded in 974, Vitebsk is called nowadays the cultural capital of Belarus.


Creative work of Marc Shagal, the great painter of the 20th century is closely connected with this city. Chagall’s Art festivals are held here annually. Vitebsk was the native land of Mark Chagall, the world famous artist, who died in Paris but he always dreamed about Vitebsk. He was inspired by his native town of Vitebsk, which he often depicted in his works. A visit of Marc Shagal museum.

Day 4

  • After breakfast you will have Zdravnevo tour devoted to a famous Russian painter Iliya Repin who lived and worked near Vitebsk during some years in the end of XIX century. Some of his works are presented at the Vitebsk art museum. In 1988 Vitebsk was chosen to hold Slavic Bazar musical festival that gathers hundreds of musicians from all around the world who sings songs on Slavic languages and attracts thousands of tourists. The festival is a major event in the city’s life.
